About Us!

Hey, I’m Marcal! I’m an Adelaide mum, and like many of you, I’ve spent way too much time searching for activities, services, and events that actually cater to kids with support needs.

The idea for Inclusive Kids Guide started from pure frustration. Every school holiday, my inbox would fill with activity ideas from councils and local websites—but when I looked closer, I realised I had no idea how my son would be supported to participate. Would it be too overwhelming? Too busy? How were staff prepared to support kids with different needs?
So, I did what most parents do, I started making endless phone calls. And after days of chasing answers, I was often left with shrugs and uncertainty.
That’s why I created Inclusive Kids Guide, so parents don’t have to spend hours calling around just to figure out if an event, playground, or service is actually inclusive or suits their child's specific needs.

This isn’t just a directory—it’s a resource built by a parent, for parents. A place where you can find activities, read honest reviews, and get the details you actually need to make outings easier.

I’ve loved seeing the reviews come in, hearing how Inclusive Kids Guide has made a real difference for families. It’s incredibly heartwarming knowing that something as simple as sharing an inclusive event on Instagram can lead to real opportunities—whether it’s a family accessing funded swimming lessons they didn’t know about or a rural show volunteer using our strategies to create a more inclusive experience for their whole community. This is exactly why I do what I do.
And if you run an activity or service that truly welcomes kids with support needs, let’s make sure families know about it so you can keep it going.
